सरायकेला गम्हरिया आम तौर पर लोगों में पुलिस के खिलाफ नाराजगी देखी जाती है. मगर कुछ ऐसे पुलिस अधिकारी होते हैं जिनकी कार्यशैली लोगों को अपना कायल बना देते हैं और लोग उनका सम्मान करने से खुद को रोक नहीं पाते. ऐसा ही नजारा शनिवार को सरायकेला जिले में देखने को मिला जहां जिला ज्वेलरी दुकानदार संघ के आह्वान पर संघ के सचिव पवन उर्फ पिंटू के नेतृत्व में एसपी डॉ विमल कुमार का भव्य नागरिक अभिनंद किया गया.दरअसल स्वर्ण कारोबारियों में बीते 6 अगस्त को गम्हरिया लाल बिल्डिंग चौक स्थित ईश्वरलाल ज्वेलर्स में हुए लूटकांड के उद्भेदन को लेकर हर्ष व्याप्त है. यही वजह है कि संघ के आह्वान पर एसपी का नागरिक अभिनंदन किया गया.शनिवार को सबसे पहले एसपी डॉ विमल कुमार का गम्हरिया लाल बिल्डिंग चौक पर नागरिक अभिनंद किया गया. इसमे व्यापारी संघ एवं अलग- अलग राजनीति दलों से जुड़े नेता व कार्यकर्ता भी शामिल थे.सभी ने एसपी का पुष्प कुछ देकर एवं तिलक लगाकर स्वागत किया. इस मौके पर ईश्वर लाल, सुनीता मिश्रा,रश्मि साहू, पप्पू केडिया, सुंदर मिश्रा, बंटी तुलस्यान,बृजेश पति तिवारी, निखिल सरकार, सुमित अग्रवाल,रतन बर्मन, शंकर बर्मन व अन्य मौजूद थे.उसके बाद एसपी को राजस्थान भवन स्थित मुख्य कार्यक्रम में ले जाया गया. जहां संघ की ओर से एसपी का भव्य स्वागत किया गया. इस मौके पर आदित्यपुर थाना प्रभारी राजन कुमार, ट्रैफिक इंस्पेक्टर राजेश सिंह व अन्य पुलिसकर्मी भी मौजूद रहे. अपने संबोधनमें एसपी ने दुकानदारों को निडर होकर व्यवसाय करने उसके बाद एसपी को राजस्थान भवन स्थित मुख्य कार्यक्रम में ले जाया गया. जहां संघ की ओर से एसपी का भव्य स्वागत किया गया. इस मौके पर आदित्यपुर थाना प्रभारी राजन कुमार,ट्रैफिक इंस्पेक्टर राजेश सिंह व अन्य पुलिसकर्मी भी मौजूद रहे. अपने संबोधन में एसपी ने दुकानदारों को निडर होकर व्यवसाय करने का भरोसा दिलाया. उन्होंने कहा कि आम लोगों का सहयोग यदि इसी तरह मिलता रहा तो बेहतर पुलिसिंग देखने को मिलेगा. लोगों से उन्होंने निडर होकर थाना आकर अपनी बातें रखने की बात कही. उन्होंने कहा इंसाफ में कभी कोई कोताही नहीं बरती जाएगी. बता दे कि लंबे समय के बाद आदित्यपुर में किसी एसपी को
इस तरह से सम्मानित किया गया है. इससे पूर्व ऐसा नजारा तत्कालीन एसपी इंद्रजीत महथा के प्रति देखने को मिला था.
Seraikela Gamhariya Generally resentment against the police is seen in the people.
