सरायकेला : चांडिल डैम का जलस्तर 181.20 मीटर पर पहुंचा, खोला गया दूसरा रेडियल गेट,जिसे जमशेदपुर व पश्चिम बंगाल को खतरा

चांडिल : सराइकेला खरसावां जिला के चांडिल अनुमंडल क्षेत्र के चांडिल बांध बहुउद्देशीय परियोजना से बने चांडिल डैम का जलस्तर बढ़ने लगा है। जलस्तर बढ़ता देख बहुउद्देशीय परियोजना डेम डिविजन 2 के प्रशासन ने डैम का दो रेडियल गेट 30 सेंटी मीटर और 20सेंटी मीटर करके खोल दिया है ।जिसे कोल्हान के पूर्वी सिंहभूम जिले के साथ पश्चिम बंगाल को खतरा हो गया है ,बारिश से रेडियल गेट की पानी को खोल देने से क्षेत्र को जल मग्न होने का खतरा है।
गुरुवार सुबह चांडिल डैम का रेडियल गेट संख्या छह को 20 सेंटीमीटर खोला गाया । वर्तमान में चांडिल डैम का जलस्तर 181.20 मीटर दर्ज किया गया है। बरसात के मौसम में अचानक जलस्तर बढ़ न जाए इसके लिए चांडिल डैम का जलस्तर कम किया जा रहा है.
इसके पूर्व रविवार को डैम का जलस्तर 180.65 मीटर दर्ज किए जाने के बाद गेट संख्या 11 को 30 सेंटीमीटर तक खोल दिया गया था।
फिलहाल चांडिल डैम का दो रेडियाल गेट खुला है। परियोजना के प्रशासन की ओर से बताया गया कि सुरक्षा के लिए ऐहतियात के तौर पर एक रेडियल गेट को खोला गया है। ताकि बारिश के बीच अचानक जलस्तर बढ़ने पर डूब क्षेत्र के किसी भी गांव में पानी ना प्रवेश कर न सेके।
प्रत्येक वर्ष डूब क्षेत्र के गावं होते हैं जलमग्न
बारिश के मौसम में चांडिल डैम का जलस्तर बढ़ने के बाद प्रतिवर्ष डुब क्षेत्र के विस्थापित गांव जलमग्न हो जाते हैं । इससे विस्थापितों को काफी नुकसान होता है और इस दौरान उन्हें विकट स्थिति का सामना भी करना पड़ता है। बारिश होते ही विस्थापितों की दिल की धड़कन बढ़ जाती है ।
तेज बारिश होने पर डैम का जलस्तर तेजी से बढ़ता है, जिसके कारण डैम के किनारे पर बसे डूब क्षेत्र के गांवों में डैम का पानी घुस जाता है। विस्थापित बताते हैं कि विस्थापन के बाद परियोजना प्रशासन की ओर से उन्हें संपूर्ण मुआवजा और पुनर्वास की सुविधा नहीं मिला है। जिसके कारण सैकड़ों की संख्या में विस्थापित परिवार अब भी अपने पुराने गांव में ही रहते हैं।
वहीं, अखिल झारखंड विस्थापित अधिकार मंच ने इसे आंदोलन का परिणाम बताया है। मंच के अध्यक्ष राकेश महतो ने कहा कि दस सूत्री मांगों के समर्थन में मंच के बैनर तले विस्थापित 16 जून से अनिश्चितकाली धरना दे रहे है।

Earlier on Sunday, gate number 11 was opened up to 30 cm after the water level of the dam was recorded at 180.65 metres.
At present two radial gates of Chandil Dam are open. It was informed by the project administration that a radial gate has been opened as a safety precaution.
So that water does not enter any village in the submergence area when the water level suddenly rises in the midst of rain.
Every year the villages of submergence area are submerged.
Every year the displaced villages of the submergence area get submerged after the water level of Chandil Dam rises during the rainy season. Due to this, the displaced people suffer a lot and during this time they also have to face a critical situation. As soon as it rains, the heartbeat of the displaced people increases.
When there is heavy rain, the water level of the dam rises rapidly, due to which the water of the dam enters the villages of the submergence area situated on the banks of the dam. The displaced state that they have not received full compensation and rehabilitation facilities from the project administration after displacement. Due to which hundreds of displaced families still live in their old village.
At the same time, All Jharkhand Displaced Rights Forum has called it the result of the movement. Manch’s president Rakesh Mahato said that in support of the ten-point demands, the displaced under the banner of the Manch have been staging an indefinite dharna since June 16.
