आज दिनांक 20/10/23 को भारतीय जनता पार्टी जिला सराइकेला खरसवां के जिलाध्यक्ष श्री विजय महतो ने एक विज्ञप्ति जारी कर जिला प्रशासन द्वारा हेलमेट चेकिंग के नाम पर आम जनता को परेशान करने के रवैए पर सवाल उठाया,
श्री विजय महतो ने कहा पिछले कई महीनों से ऐसा देखा जा रहा है की प्रशासन का रवैया अलग अलग त्यवहारों पर भेदभावपूर्ण रह रहा है, किसी खास जलसे पर सड़को से प्रशासन गायब रहता है,लेकिन जब हिंदू पर्व होते है तो हेलमेट चेकिंग बढ़ा दी जाती है जबकि इस समय गांव देहात के लोग शहरों में अपने बच्चे, परिवार के साथ खरीददारी करने या उत्सव में सम्मिलित होने की खातिर आते है,श्री विजय महतो ने कहा उन्हें कई लोगो ने शिकायत किया है की आदित्यपुर पुलिया,आदित्यपुर टोल प्लाजा मोड़,कंड्रा टॉलप्लाजा के समीप और सरायकेला चाईबासा रोड पर खास कर लोगों को टारगेट किया जाता है।
प्रशासन जैसे इनके ताक में रहता है, हेलमेट चेकिंग के नाम पर इनसे दोहन किया जाता है,इस वजह से उत्सव मनाने की खुशी परेशानी में बदल जाती है।
श्री विजय महतो ने कहा चुनाव के समय वर्तमान मुख्यमंत्री हेमंत सोरेन ने इसे मुद्दा बनाया था जबकि आज उनके प्रशासन का रवैया बिपरित है उन्होंने कहा गुजरात जैसे विकसित राज्यों में राज्य सरकार ने आम जनता की खातिर कानूनों में बदलाव किया है।
उन्होंने प्रशासन से आम जनता के प्रति संवेदनशील रवैया और पूजा के दौरान सख्ती में ढील बरतने का अपनाने का आग्रह किया ।

Today on 20/10/23, District President of Bharatiya Janata Party District Seraikela Kharswan, Shri Vijay Mahato issued a release questioning the attitude of the district administration to harass the general public in the name of helmet checking,
Shri Vijay Mahato said that for the last several months, it is being seen that the attitude of the administration is being discriminatory on different festivals, the administration remains missing from the roads on any special gathering, but when there are Hindu festivals, helmet checking is increased. Whereas at this time people from rural areas come to cities for shopping with their children and families or to participate in festivals, Mr. Vijay Mahato said that many people have complained to him that Adityapur Pulia, Adityapur Toll Plaza Mod, Kandra People are especially targeted near Tall Plaza and Seraikela Chaibasa Road.
As the administration keeps an eye on them, they are exploited in the name of helmet checking, due to which the joy of celebrating the festival turns into trouble.
Shri Vijay Mahato said that at the time of elections, the present Chief Minister Hemant Soren had made this an issue, whereas today the attitude of his administration is opposite. He said that in developed states like Gujarat, the state government has made changes in the laws for the sake of the general public.
He urged the administration to adopt a sensitive attitude towards the general public and to relax the strictness during the puja.
