नहाने के क्रम में दो बच्चे तालाब में डूबे,ग्रामीणों ने दोनों के शवों को बाहर निकाला
चाईबासा।झारखण्ड के पश्चिमी सिंहभूम के टोंटो थाना क्षेत्र में तालाब में नहाने के क्रम में दो बच्चों की डूबने से मौत हो गयी। सुखलाल हांसदा की 6 साल की बेटी सुषमा हांसदा और स्व प्रधान चांपिया का 4 वर्षीय पुत्र विष्णु चांपिया के शवों को ग्रामीणों ने बाहर निकाला। जानकारी मिलने पर गुरुवार शाम को ग्रामीण तालाब पहुंचे और बच्चों की खोजबीन शुरू की। विष्णु का शव तो शाम में निकाल लिया गया, लेकिन सुषमा का शव बरामद न हो सका।शुक्रवार सुबह सुषमा हांसदा का शव तालाब के किनारे पानी के ऊपर तैर रहा था।घटना के बाद से परिवार वालों का रो-रोकर बुरा हाल है।इस घटना से पूरे गांव में मातम पसर गया है।
जानकारी के अनुसार, गुरुवार दिन के करीब तीन बजे वे दोनों बच्चे गांव के अन्य बच्चों के साथ तालाब में नहाने चले गये थे। तालाब में सभी बच्चे नहा रहे थे। इसी दौरान दोनों तालाब के गहरे पानी में डूबने लगे।बच्चों ने परिजनों को बताया कि विष्णु और सुषमा डूब गये।उनके साथ नहा रहे अन्य बच्चों ने दोनों को बचाने का।भरसक प्रयास किया, लेकिन वे कामयाब न हो सके। विष्णु और सुषमा के डूबने के बाद बच्चे सहम गये। सभी काफी देर से घर पहुंचे।विष्णु और सुषमा के परिजनों ने अन्य बच्चों से उनके घर न आने का कारण पूछा, तो उन्होंने डरते-सहमते बताया कि दोनों तालाब में डूब गये हैं।
इसके बाद ग्रामीण तालाब पहुंचे। दोनों बच्चों की खोजबीन शुरू हो गयी।शाम करीब सात बजे विष्णु चांपिया का शव मिला।दूसरे दिन सुबह यानी शुक्रवार को सुषमा का भी शव मिल गया।घटना की जानकारी मिलने पर पुलिस गांव पहुंची और दोनों शवों को पोस्टमार्टम कराने के लिए सदर अस्पताल चाईबासा भेज दिया
Chaibasa. Two children died due to drowning while taking bath in a pond in Tonto police station area of West Singhbhum district of Jharkhand. Villagers took out the dead bodies of Sushma Hansda, 6-year-old daughter of Sukhlal Hansda and Vishnu Champia, 4-year-old son of late Pradhan Champia. On getting the information, the villagers reached Talab on Thursday evening and started searching for the children. Vishnu’s body was taken out in the evening, but Sushma’s body could not be recovered. On Friday morning, Sushma Hansda’s body was floating on the water on the banks of the pond. The family members are crying bitterly since the incident. Due to the incident, mourning has spread in the entire village.
According to the information, both the children had gone to bathe in the pond along with other children of the village at around 3 o’clock on Thursday. All the children were taking bath in the pond. Meanwhile, both of them started drowning in the deep water of the pond. The children told their relatives that Vishnu and Sushma had drowned. Other children taking bath with them tried their best to save them, but they could not succeed. The children were horrified after Vishnu and Sushma drowned. Everyone reached home very late. When the relatives of Vishnu and Sushma asked the other children the reason for their absence, they fearfully told that both had drowned in the pond.
After this the villagers reached the pond. The search for both the children started. The dead body of Vishnu Champia was found at around seven in the evening. The body of Sushma was also found the next morning i.e. on Friday. On getting information about the incident, the police reached the village and sent both the bodies to Sadar Hospital Chaibasa for post-mortem. sent
