खरसावां के कुम्हार साईं स्थित माता पाउडी के शक्ति पीठ पर आगामी 21 सितंबर को वार्षिक जताल पूजा का आयोजन होगा उक्त जानकारी देते हुए देउरी सुकरा नायक ने बताया कि खरसावां के प्रसिद्ध शक्तिपीठ का विशेष महत्व है माता पाउडी की आराधना करते हुए विधि विधान से पूजा अर्चना कर श्रद्धालु ने पहली फसल भगवान की अर्पित करते हैं बता दें कि खरसावां का वार्षिक जताल पूजा यहां के प्रमुख पूजा है मां पाउडी की माता भगवती का एक रुप माना जाता है, जताल पूजा की यह परंपरा 13 वो सदी से पुरानी है, जो आज भी कायम है, उल्लेखनीय है कि पूर्व में इस पूजा का आयोजन राज परिवार की ओर से किया जाता था वर्ष 1949 से पूजा का पूरा खर्च राज्य सरकार वहन करती है इस पूजा अर्चना होने के पश्चात हैं इस वर्ष की धान के फसल से चावल बनाकर खाया जाता है, ।
