*महालिमोरूप क्षेत्र के आस पास गाँव में सुखाड़ के बावजूद हर्षोल्लास के साथ मनी दीपावाली*

महालिमोरूप:: भारत त्योहारों का देश है,यहाँ कई प्रकार के त्योहार पूरे साल ही आते रहते है, लेकिन दीपावली सबसे बड़े त्योहारों में से एक है। ऐसा त्योहार शहरों में ही नहीं बल्कि गांवों में भी मनाया जाता है। इस वर्ष सुखाड़ के बावजूद महालिमोरूप क्षेत्र के आस पास गाँव में लोगों ने प्रकाशोत्सव दीपावली हर्षोल्लास के साथ मनाई । अमावस्या यानी दिपावाली का मुख्य दिन, उस दिन देवी लक्ष्मी की पूजा अर्चना की गई। उसके आगमन और स्वागत के लिए लोगों ने अपने घरों की रंगाई पुताई कर आकर्षक रूप से सजाया। अमावस्या के अंधेरी रात को लोगों ने अपने अपने घरों को असंख्य दीपों व बिजली के रंग बिरंगे लाईटों से जगमगया । इसके साथ साथ लोगों को हवा में कृत्रिम “आकाशीय लालटेन” जलाकर उडाते देखा गया जिससे आकाश भी जगमगया। लोगों ने हवा में उड़ते आकाशीय लालटेन को टकटकी लगाकर देखते रहे। यह अद्धभुत दृश्य लोगों को काफी रोमांचित किया। दीपावाली पर गाँव के बाल्य कलाकारों ने दीवाली घर समेत कई आकर्षक कलाकृति बनाकर अपने कला का परदर्शन किए। वहीं मुरुप निवासी पवन प्रधान ने माता काली की मुर्ति, गणेश प्रधान ने कोयला से चलने वाली रेल गाड़ी बनाकर लोगों से खूब वाह वाही पाई। मौके पर लोगों ने नए कपड़े पहने व स्वादिष्ट पकवान बनाकर खाए। धनतेरस से भाई दूज तक यह त्योहार चलता रहा। धनतेरस के दिन व्यापारी अपने नए बही खाते बनाए। उन दिन लोगों ने फुलझड़ी, पटाखे छोड़े। अगले दिन परस्पर भेंट कर एक-दूसरे के गले लगकर दीपावली की शुभकामनाएं दी।
स्थानीय एलआईसी एडवाइजर व समाजसेवी हेमसागर प्रधान ने बताया कि दीपावली का त्योहार जीवन को खुशी प्रदान करता है जिससे लोगों को नया जीवन जीने का उत्साह मिलता है। परंतु कुछ लोग इस दिन जुआ खेलते हैं, जो घर व समाज के लिए बड़ी बुरी बात है। हमें इस बुराई से बचना चाहिए। पटाखे सावधानीपूर्वक छोड़ने चाहिए। इस बात का विशेष ध्यान रखना चाहिए कि हमारे किसी भी कार्य एवं व्यवहार से किसी को भी दुख न पहुंचे, तभी दीपावली का त्योहार मनाना सार्थक होगा।
Mahalimorup:: India is a country of festivals, many types of festivals come here throughout the year, but Diwali is one of the biggest festivals. Such festivals are celebrated not only in cities but also in villages. Despite the drought this year, people in the villages around Mahalimorup area celebrated Diwali, the festival of lights, with great enthusiasm. Amavasya i.e. the main day of Diwali, Goddess Lakshmi was worshiped on that day. To welcome his arrival, people painted and decorated their houses attractively. On the dark night of Amavasya, people illuminated their homes with innumerable lamps and colorful electric lights. Along with this, people were seen lighting artificial “sky lanterns” in the air which illuminated the sky. People kept gazing at the sky lanterns flying in the air. This amazing scene thrilled people a lot. On Diwali, child artists of the village displayed their art by making many attractive artworks including Diwali house. Murup resident Pawan Pradhan made the idol of Mata Kali and Ganesh Pradhan got a lot of applause from the people by making a train running on coal. On the occasion, people wore new clothes and prepared delicious dishes and ate them. This festival continued from Dhanteras to Bhai Dooj. On the day of Dhanteras, traders prepare their new account books. On those days people burst sparklers and firecrackers. The next day they met each other and hugged each other and wished Diwali.
Local LIC advisor and social worker Hemsagar Pradhan said that the festival of Diwali brings happiness to life which gives people enthusiasm to live a new life. But some people gamble on this day, which is very bad for home and society. We should avoid this evil. Firecrackers should be released carefully. We should take special care that none of our actions and behavior hurts anyone, only then celebrating the festival of Diwali will be meaningful.
