राजनगर प्रखण्ड के ग्राम बिक्रमपुर में सुकरा मंडल और नन्दलाल मंडल के घर में जितिया पूजा धूमधाम से संपन्न हुआ ।जितिया पूजा में महिलाएं तीन दिन तक निर्जला व्रत को विधि विधान से मानकर अष्टमी के दिन धूप दीप अक्षय पुष्प मिठाई फल आदि अर्पित करते हुए पूजा अर्चना कर अपने संतान की लंबी आयु की कामना करते हुई , सुख , समृद्धि रोग मुक्त वातावरण की कामना किये ।पूजा के बाद पुजारी ने जितिया के व्रत कथा सुनाये। जितिया के दिन व्रत कथा जीत वाहन की पूजा विधि विधान है। अष्टमी के दिन प्रदोष काल में तालाब में निकट कुशा से जीत वाहन की मूर्ति बनाई जाती है साथ ही कथा के चील और सियारिनी की मूर्तियां भी गोबर से बनाते हैं सबसे पहले जीतवाहन को धूप, दीप , फूल , मिठाई , धान का पौधा ,अक्षत चढ़ाए तथा चील और सियार को लाल सिंदूर से लगते हैं उपवास के दौरान सियार को बहुत भूख लग गयी और वह जाकर चुपके से मरे हुए जानवर का मरा हुआ मांस खा लिया , लेकिन चील ने पूरे समर्पण के साथ व्रत का पालन कर पूरा किया है। अगले जन्म में दोनों मनुष्य रूप जन्म लिया। चील के कई पुत्र हुए और सभी जीवित रहे लेकिन सियार के पुत्र होकर मर जाते थे इससे बदले की भावना से उसने चील के बच्चों को कोई बार मारने का प्रयास किया , लेकिन वह सफल नहीं हुआ। बाद में चील ने सियार का अपने पूर्व जन्म के जितिया व्रत के बारे में बताया। इस व्रत में सियाल ने भी संतान का सुख प्राप्त हुआ । इस तरह यह व्रत संतान सुख की प्राप्ति के लिए संसार में प्रसिद्ध हुआ । पूजा में उपस्थित गोपबन्धु उच्च विद्यालय के पूर्व प्रधानाध्यापक नुनु राम महतो , कृष्ण चंद्र महतो , गणेश चंद्र महतो , बुद्धेश्वर दास , सुनिल दुबे , राजेश दुबे , सत्यनारायण दास , नकुल दास आलेख दास , कृष्ण दास , समनाथ नन्द, नीतीश महतो , नंदलाल मंडल, गोपीचंद मंडल , दीपक मंडल ,सुकरा मंडल , चामटू कैर्वत , मनतोष बारिक, निलकंठ बारिक ,लयन कैर्वत, रंजित कैर्वत , बाबू पति,देवनाथ पति, गुरुबा कैर्वत, बुधू पुरती ,विरधान सोय बसन्त तांती , कर्ण कैर्वत एवम् ग्रामवासी आदि उपस्थित थे।
Jitiya Puja was completed with great pomp in the house of Sukra Mandal and Nandlal Mandal in village Bikrampur of Rajnagar block. In Jitiya Puja, women observed water-free fast for three days as per the rituals and offered incense, lamp, renewable flowers, sweets, fruits etc. on the day of Ashtami. Praying for the long life of their children, happiness, prosperity and a disease-free environment. After the puja, the priest narrated the story of Jitiya’s fast. On the day of Jitiya, there is a fast and a ritual to worship the Jitvahan. On the day of Ashtami, during the Pradosh period, the idol of Jeetvahan is made in the pond near Kusha, along with the idols of the eagle and Siyarini of the story are also made from cow dung. First of all, Jeetvahan is decorated with incense, lamp, flowers, sweets, etc.
The paddy plant is offered intact and the eagle and jackal are smeared with red vermillion. During the fast, the jackal got very hungry and went and secretly ate the dead meat of the dead animal, but the eagle observed the fast with full dedication. The tax has been completed. In the next life both were born in human form. The eagle had many sons and all of them survived but the jackals used to die when they became sons, hence in the spirit of revenge he tried to kill the eagle’s children several times, but he did not succeed. Later the eagle told the jackal about the Jitiya fast of his previous birth. During this fast, Sial also got the happiness of having a child. In this way this fast became famous in the world for the happiness of having a child. Present in the puja were former headmaster of Gopabandhu High School, Nunu Ram Mahato, Krishna Chandra Mahato, Ganesh Chandra Mahato, Budheshwar Das, Sunil Dubey, Rajesh Dubey, Satyanarayan Das, Nakul Das Aalekh Das, Krishna Das, Samnath Nand, Nitish Mahato, Nandlal Mandal, Gopichand Mandal, Deepak Mandal, Sukra Mandal, Chamtu Kairavat, Mantosh Barik, Nilkanth Barik, Layan Kairavat, Ranjit Kairavat, Babu Pati, Devnath Pati, Guruba Kairavat, Budhu Purti, Virdhan Soy Basant Tanti, Karna Kairavat and villagers etc. were present.
