खरसावां के कुम्हार साही स्थित मां पाउडी शक्ति पीठ पर गुरुवार को वार्षिक जताल पुजा का आयोजन किया गया। जताल पुजा की शुरुआत पुजारी , दिहरे सुकार नायक ने मां पाउडी की पुजा से की पुजा में अच्छी फसल के साथ क्षेत्र की सुख शांति के लिए मन्नत मांगी गयी। जताल पुजा में आस पास के गांव के लोगों भी पहुंचे थे । जताल पुजा में माता की प्रसन्न करने के लिए बकरे व भेड की पुजन किया गया। इस दिन नये धान से तैयार चावल से बने प्रसाद को माता को समपित की जाती है। भक्तों ने मिट्टी के बने हाथी घोड़ा भी भेंट मंदिर में किया। जताल पुजा की यह परंपरागत 77 वी सदी से शुरू हुई है जो आज भी कायम है पहले यह पूजा राज परिवार के द्वारा की जाती थी देश की आजादी के बाद यह पूजा सरकारी स्तर पर की जाने लगी। जताल पुजा यहाँ की प्रमुख पूजा है मां पाउडी की माता भगवती का एक रुप माना जाता है। पूजा के बाद ग्रामीणों ने सामूहिक रूप से प्रसाद चढ़ाया श्रद्धालुओं ने माता के दरबार में मन्नत मांगी और कोई श्रद्धालुओं ने मन्नत पूरी होने पर बलि चढ़ाया पूजा के बाद जमकर बारिश हुई। जताल पुजा में बारिश होने की शुभ संकेत माना जाता है यहां सदियों से विधि विधान के साथ मां पाउडी की पूजा की जाती है। खरसावां के कुम्हारसाई स्थित मां पाउडी का यह पीठ क्षेत्र के लोगों के लिए आस्था का केंद्र बना हुआ है यह पीठ के सिद्ध पीठ के रूप में जाना जाता है।
Annual Jatal Puja was organized on Thursday at Maa Pauri Shakti Peeth located in Kumhar Sahi, Kharsawan. Jatal puja was started by the priest, Dihare Sukar Nayak, with the puja of Maa Pauri. In the puja, a wish was made for the peace and happiness of the area along with a good harvest. People from nearby villages also participated in Jatal Puja. In Jatal Puja, goat and sheep were worshiped to please the Mother Goddess. On this day, Prasad made of rice prepared from new paddy is dedicated to the Mother Goddess. Devotees also presented an elephant and horse made of clay to the temple. This tradition of Jatal puja started from the 77th century which continues even today. Earlier this puja was done by the royal family. After the independence of the country, this puja started being done at the government level. Jatal Puja is the main worship here. Maa Pauri is considered to be a form of Goddess Bhagwati. After the puja, the villagers collectively offered Prasad, the devotees made a vow in the court of Mata and some devotees offered sacrifice after the fulfillment of the vow. After the puja, it rained heavily. Jatal puja is considered to be an auspicious sign of rain. Here Maa Pauri has been worshiped with rituals for centuries. This Peeth of Maa Pauri located at Kumharsai in Kharsawan remains a center of faith for the people of the area. It is known as the Siddha Peeth of the Peeth.
