खूंटपानी प्रखंड के बड़ाचिरू स्टेडियम मैदान में आकाशवाणी क्लब की ओर से पांच दिवसीय फुटबाल प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया। जिसमें पुरुष वर्ग में 64 एवं 40 प्लस में 08 जबकि महिला वर्ग में चार टीमों ने हिस्सा लिया। फुटबॉल प्रतियोगिता के समापन समारोह में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में स्थानीय विधायक दशरथ गागराई, विशिष्ट अतिथि में सरायकेला खरसावां जिला परिषद के अध्यक्ष सोनाराम बोदरा, जिला परिषद सदस्य यमुना तियू शामिल हुए। पुरुष वर्ग में फुटबॉल प्रतियोगिता का फाइनल मैच फ्रांस एफसी एवं टेपराहातु के बीच खेला गया। जिसमें फ्रांस एफसी की टीम एक गोल से विजेता रही। इससे पूर्व अतिथियों ने फुटबॉल प्रतियोगिता फाइनल मैच का उद्घाटन खिलाड़ियों से परिचय प्राप्त कर एवं फुटबॉल को की मारकर किया। विजेता टीम को 50 हजार एवं उपविजेता रहे टेपराहातु की टीम को 40 हजार रुपए नगद राशि देकर अतिथियों के द्वारा पुरस्कृत किया गया। फुटबॉल प्रतियोगिता में तीसरे स्थान पर रहे तियू इलेवन डालियामार्चा की टीम को 20 हजार एवं चौथा स्थान पर रहे वाईएफसी लुपुंगगुटु की टीम को 15 हजार रुपए नगद राशि देकर पुरस्कृत किया गया। पांचवें स्थान से लेकर आठवीं स्थान पर रहे टीमों को 10-10 हजार रुपए नगद राशि देकर पुरस्कृत किया गया। वहीं 40 प्लस का फाइनल मैच चिरू उनचुड़ी एवं आदित्यपुर एफसी के बीच खेला गया। जिसमें पेनल्टी सूट 3-2 से चिरू उनचुड़ी की टीम विजेता रही। विजेता टीम को 10 हजार एवं उपविजेता रहे आदित्यपुर एफसी की टीम को 7 हजार रुपए नगद राशि देकर पुरस्कृत किया गया। तीसरे स्थान पर रहे सरायकेला टाइगर एवं चौथे स्थान पर रहे रतन एफसी की टीम को 3-3 हजार रुपए नगद राशि देकर पुरस्कृत किया गया। जबकि महिला वर्ग का फाइनल मैच एसएलपी ब्लैक कोट एवं एनटीपीसी गुटुसाई के बीच खेला गया। जिसमें एसएलपी ब्लैक कोट एक गोल 1-0 से विजेता रहा। विजेता टीम को 5 हजार एवं उपविजेता रही गुटुसाई की टीम को 3 हजार रुपए नगद राशि देकर पुरस्कृत किया गया।
मौके पर विधायक प्रतिनिधि दुर्गा चरण पाड़ेया, प्रखंड अध्यक्ष डिम्बु तियू, मजदूर नेता सिकंदर जामुदा, महेन्द्र बानरा,बबलू बानरा,अशोक कुमार दास, ज्योति बोदरा,सतीश पुरती समेत काफी संख्या में खेल प्रेमी उपस्थित थे।
A five-day football competition was organized by Akashvani Club at Barachiru Stadium ground in Khuntpani block. In which 64 teams in men’s category and 08 in 40 plus, while four teams participated in women’s category. Local MLA Dashrath Gagrai as the chief guest, Sonaram Bodra, Zilla Parishad member Seraikela Kharsawan, Zilla Parishad member Yamuna Tiu attended the closing ceremony of the football competition. The final match of the football competition in the men’s category was played between France FC and Teprahatu. In which the team of France FC was the winner by one goal. Before this, the guests inaugurated the final match of the football competition by getting introduced to the players and kicking the football. The winning team was awarded Rs 50,000 and the runner-up Teprahatu team was awarded Rs 40,000 in cash by the guests. In the football competition, the team of Tiu XI Daliamarcha, which stood third, was awarded Rs 20,000 and the team of YFC Lupunggutu, which stood fourth, was awarded a cash amount of Rs 15,000. The teams from fifth to eighth place were rewarded with a cash amount of Rs 10,000 each. And the final match of 40 plus was played between Chiru Unchudi and Adityapur FC. In which Chiru Unchudi’s team won the penalty suit 3-2. The winning team was awarded Rs 10,000 and the runner-up Adityapur FC team was awarded Rs 7,000 in cash. Third place Seraikela Tiger and fourth place Ratan FC’s team were rewarded with a cash amount of Rs 3,000 each. While the final match of women’s section was played between SLP Black Coat and NTPC Gutusai. In which SLP Black Coats were one goal 1-0 winners. The winning team was awarded Rs 5,000 and the runner-up Gutusai’s team was awarded Rs 3,000 in cash.
A large number of sports lovers were present on the occasion including MLA representative Durga Charan Padeya, block president Dimbu Tiyu, labor leader Sikandar Jamuda, Mahendra Banra, Bablu Banra, Ashok Kumar Das, Jyoti Bodra, Satish Purti.
