खरसावां प्रखंड के रेगोगोडा उत्क्रमित मध्य विद्यालय में विद्यार्थियों ने कचरा की सफाई उसमें आग लगा दी इस दौरान प्लास्टिक का जलते टुकड़ा उड़कर छठी कक्षा के छात्र की आंखों में लग गया छात्र गुरमीत महती की आनन फानन में सरायकेला सदर अस्पताल ले जाया गया। वहां वहां इलाज के बाद हालात में सुधार है चिकित्सकों ने कहा कि आंखों में अदरूनी चोट नहीं आया है मलहम लगाने के बाद बच्चा धीरे-धीरे आंख खोल रहा है सूचना मिलने पर शाम को डीएस इ चार्ल्स हेंब्रम व प्रभारी बीइइओ वसुंधरा कुमारी सदर अस्पताल पहुंची घटना की जानकारी ली छात्र के माता-पिता को बेहतर उपचार के लिए ₹20 हजार रुपये का आर्थिक सहयोग किया। ग्रामीण के अनुसार शिक्षकों की लापरवाही से घटना हुई है स्कूल के तीन शिक्षक अटेंडेंस बनाकर गायब थे प्रधानाध्यापक अभिमन्यु प्रधान ने बच्चों को सफाई के काम में लगा दिया था कचरे में आग लगाने के लिए पारा शिक्षिका अन्नपूर्णा महतो ने रसोई घर से माचिस लाकर दी वह हाजिरी बनाकर विद्यालय से निकलकर व्यक्तिगत कम कर रही थी। डीएस इ ने सभी शिक्षकों से मांगा स्पष्टीकरण जिला शिक्षा अधीक्षक चार्ल्स हेंब्रम ने विद्यालय के प्रभारी प्रधानाध्यापक सभी शिक्षकों से मंगलवार के ऊपर 1:00 बजे तक स्पष्टीकरण मांगा है विद्यालय में तीन-तीन शिक्षकों की होने के बावजूद भी किस परिस्थिति में यह घटना हुई।
