125 साल पुराने भारतीय डाकघर अधिनियम में संशोधन, राज्यसभा में डाकघर विधेयक पास
राज्यसभा ने 125 साल पुराने भारतीय डाकघर अधिनियम में संशोधन के लिए डाकघर विधेयक, 2023 पारित किया. इस अधिनियम में भारतीय डाक को केन्द्रीय सरकार का विभागीय अधिकरण बनाना है.इसके तहत सरकार डाक के माध्यम से देश की सुरक्षा और सार्वजनिक प्रशासन से संबंधित भेजी गई किसी भी वस्तु को बीच में ही रोक सकती है. भारतीय डाक अपने नियमानुसार सेवा उपलब्ध कराने के अतिरिक्त किसी अन्य मामले का जिम्मेदार नहीं होगी.(नीचे भी पढ़ें)
सदन में यह विधेयक पेश करते हुए केंद्रीय संचार मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव ने कहा कि भारतीय डाक देश के लोगों के जीवन का एक अभिन्न अंग रहा है और पिछले 9 वर्षों में सरकार ने विभाग को पुनर्जीवित किया है. श्री वैष्णव ने कहा कि सरकार ने इसे डाक पहुंचाने की प्रणाली से सेवा प्रदाता प्रणाली में बदल दिया है. उन्होंने कहा कि 2014 से अब तक 5,000 नए डाकघर खोले गए हैं. जिसका और विस्तार किया जाना है.कांग्रेस सांसद शक्ति सिंह गोहिल ने विधेयक पर बहस की शुरुआत करते हुए कहा कि सरकार आम लोगों की जगह निजी क्षेत्र को बढ़ावा देना चाहती है. इस विधायक पर चर्चा में भाजपा सांसद लक्ष्मीकांत बाजपेयी, घनश्याम तिवारी, राकांपा सदस्य डॉ. फौजिया खान और अन्नाद्रमुक के एम. थंबीदुरई ने भी भाग लिया.
Amendment in 125 year old Indian Post Office Act, Post Office Bill passed in Rajya Sabha
Rajya Sabha passed the Post Office Bill, 2023 to amend the 125-year-old Indian Post Office Act. In this Act, Indian Post is to be made a departmental authority of the Central Government. Under this, the government can intercept any item sent through post related to the security and public administration of the country. India Post will not be responsible for any matter other than providing service as per its rules.
Presenting this bill in the House, Union Communications Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that Indian Post has been an integral part of the lives of the people of the country and in the last 9 years the government has revived the department. Shri Vaishnav said that the government has changed it from a mail delivery system to a service provider system. He said that 5,000 new post offices have been opened since 2014. Which is to be further expanded. Congress MP Shakti Singh Gohil, while starting the debate on the bill, said that the government wants to promote the private sector instead of the common people. BJP MPs Laxmikant Bajpai, Ghanshyam Tiwari, NCP member Dr. Fauzia Khan and AIADMK’s M. Thambidurai also participated in the discussion on this MLA.
