*मुरुप में दहकते अंगारों पर चलकर दिखाएंगे भक्तगण हट भक्ति*

सरायकेला:: प्रखंड के मुरुप गाँव में देवी वनदुर्गा मां के प्रति भक्तों की आस्था कहिए या देवी वनदुर्गा की असीम कृपा लेकिन यह सच है कि यहां माता को प्रसन्न करने के लिए भक्त कई आकर्षक व हैरतअंगेज करतब दिखाते हैं। यह आस्था व भक्ति आज नहीं बल्कि सदियों से चली आ रही है जो आज के कंप्यूटर युग में भी जारी है।
मुरुप निवासी *हेमसागर प्रधान* ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि गाँव में स्थित दुर्गा मन्दिर पर स्थापित माता देवी वनदुर्गा के प्रतिमा की पूजा विधिवत दशमी से 15 दिन पहले शुरू हो जाती है। दशमी के बाद एकादशी के दिन यहां माता की भव्य पूजा अर्चना की जाती है। एकादशी के दिन 25 अक्टूबर को स्थानीय जलाशय से जल देवी की पूजा अर्चना कर भक्तों द्वारा दंडी पाठ करते हुए मन्दिर परिसर पहुंचेंगे। मन्दिर पहुँचने से पहले भक्तों से लोग अपने घरों में परिवार की सुख शांति व समृद्धि हेतु पूजा अर्चना कराते है। इस दौरान भक्तों द्वारा माँ को प्रसन्न करने के लिए कई आकर्षक करतब दिखाएंगे। मन्दिर परिसर में माँ पाऊड़ी के समक्ष 20 फीट लंबा व दो फीट चौड़ा व गढ्डा खोदकर अग्निकुंड बनाया गया है। यहाँ देवी माता अग्नि कुमारी की पूजा अर्चना की जाती है। इस पूजा के बाद भक्त देवी को प्रसन्न करने के लिए दहकते अंगारों पर नंगे पांव दौड़ेंगे। देवी वनदुर्गा की असीम भक्ति की कृपा से इन भक्तों के पांव में छाले तक नहीं पड़ते हैं। मन्नत के अनुसार महिला व पुरुष अपने अराध्य देव को प्रसन्न करने के लिए कंटीले झाड़ियों पर लेटकर भक्ति की परीक्षा देते हैं। भक्तों के करतब को देखने के लिए प्रतिवर्ष यहां पड़ोसी जिला समेत आसपास के हजारों भक्तों की भीड़ उमड़ पड़ती हैं, जिसकी निगरानी श्री श्री शुभनाथ क्लब, मुरुप द्वारा की जाती है।
यहां देवी वनदुर्गा की पूजा देउरी द्वारा की जाती है।मंदिर में कई साल से पूजारी के रूप में रामनाथ होता, गौर दास व कुथलु प्रधान द्वारा पूजा कराई जा रही है।
पुजारी *रामनाथ होता* ने बताया कि माता की असीम कृपा के कारण माता के दरबार में भक्तों द्वारा सच्ची मन से मांगी गई हर मुराद पूरी होती है।
पुजारी *गौर दास* ने बताया कि देवी माता वनदुर्गा पर सच्ची आस्थापूर्वक नंगे पांव अंगारों पर चलने के बावजूद भक्तों के पांव में छाले नहीं पड़ते है।
पुजारी *कुथलु प्रधान* ने बताया कि यहाँ एक ओर भक्त अपनी फरियाद लेकर माँ के दरवार में अर्जी लगाने आते है, वहीं दूसरी ओर भक्त अपनी मन्नते पूरी होने पर माँ को शुक्रिया अदा करने के लिए दरवार में पहुँचते है। फलतः इस अवसर पर भक्तों की भीड़ लग जाती है।
Seraikela: In Murup village of the block, call it the faith of the devotees towards Goddess Vandurga Maa or the immense grace of Goddess Vandurga, but it is true that the devotees here perform many attractive and astonishing feats to please the Mother Goddess. This faith and devotion is not only present today but has been going on for centuries which continues even in today’s computer age.
Giving information, Murup resident *Hemsagar Pradhan* said that the worship of the idol of Goddess Vandurga installed at the Durga temple located in the village formally starts 15 days before Dashami. After Dashami, on the day of Ekadashi, a grand worship of Mother Goddess is done here. On the day of Ekadashi, on 25th October, after worshiping the Water Goddess from the local reservoir, the devotees will reach the temple premises reciting Dandi. Before reaching the temple, people ask the devotees to offer prayers in their homes for the happiness, peace and prosperity of the family. During this time, many attractive tricks will be performed by the devotees to please the Mother Goddess. A fire pit 20 feet long and two feet wide has been built in front of Maa Pauri in the temple premises by digging a pit. Goddess Mata Agni Kumari is worshiped here. After this puja, devotees will run barefoot on burning embers to please the goddess. By the grace of immense devotion of Goddess Vandurga, these devotees do not even get blisters on their feet. According to the vow, men and women test their devotion by lying on thorny bushes to please their deity. Every year, thousands of devotees from neighboring districts and nearby areas gather here to see the feat of the devotees, which is monitored by Sri Sri Shubhanath Club, Murup.
Here Goddess Vandurga is worshiped by Deuri. For many years, the worship is being done in the temple by Ramnath Hota, Gaur Das and Kuthlu Pradhan as priests.
Priest *Ramnath Hota* told that due to the immense grace of Mata, every wish made by the devotees with true heart is fulfilled in the court of Mata.
Priest *Gaur Das* told that despite walking barefoot on hot coals with true faith in Goddess Mata Vandurga, the devotees do not get blisters on their feet.
Priest *Kuthalu Pradhan* told that here on one hand the devotees go to the mother’s court with their complaints. On the other hand, devotees come to the court to offer prayers to the Mother Goddess after their wishes are fulfilled. As a result, there is a crowd of devotees on this occasion.
