सरायकेला में कुम्हार के लिए दीपावली खुशी का सुगंध लेकर आई है

साल भर की कमाई इसी मिट्टी के दिए से के जुगाड़ हो जाती है। कुम्हार तेजी से मिट्टी के दिए , हंडी , कराया , मूर्ति बना लिए हैं , लेकिन चाक की गति जो चैनिक खिलौने और इलेक्ट्रॉनिक लाइट द्वारा उनके सपनों को चकनाचूर कर दिया है । जो दशको के पहले से ही चाक चलना कुछ कुम्हार छोड़ दिए हैं , कारण यह है कि उन्हें अपनी मेहनत का उचित मुनाफा नहीं मिल पाता है । कुछ लोग उत्पादन के जगह बिक्री का काम शुरू कर दिए हैं बाहर से बने बनाए मिट्टी के समान मंगा कर कुछ मुनाफा पर स्थानीय विक्रेताओं को बेच देते हैं , इससे सरकार को उत्पाद पर होने वाला मुनाफा समाप्त हो गया है। सरायकेला के निवासी मनोज प्रजापति ने बताया कि जब चीनी के समान भारत में बिकने लगे हैं , हम लोग का व्यापार काफी प्रभावित हुए हैं , हर साल दिया बच जाता है , पूरा परिवार के सदस्य इस कार्य में जुटे रहते हैं लेकिन समुचित आय नहीं होती है फिर भी पारंपरिक हमलोग व्यवसाय है , इसलिए यह काम करना पड़ता है, इसके अलावा दूसरा कोई हुनर नहीं है। दिवाली के बाद के समय सुराही , घडा इत्यादि बेचकर जीवन ज्ञापन करते हैं , लेकिन इनमें भी आय नहीं के बराबर होती है।परिवार बहुत खराब परिस्थिति से चलाता , सरकार की ओर से हमलोगों को कोई मदत नहीं मिलाता ।
The whole year’s income is obtained from this clay lamp. Potters have rapidly made clay lamps, pots, pots and idols, but their dreams have been shattered by the speed of the wheel, electronic toys and electronic lights. Some potters have given up the wheel since decades, the reason being that they do not get proper profits for their hard work. Some people have started selling the products instead of producing them. They import the manufactured clay items from outside and sell them to the local sellers at some profit, due to which the government has lost its profit on the product. Manoj Prajapati, a resident of Seraikela, said that when sugar products have started being sold in India, our business has been greatly affected, every year the diyas are left, the entire family members are engaged in this work but do not get proper income. Still, this is a traditional business, so this work has to be done, apart from this there is no other skill. After Diwali, we earn our living by selling jugs, pitchers etc., but even in these the income is negligible. The family lives in very poor conditions and we do not get any help from the government.
