सरायकेला खरसावां जिले के आदित्यपुर स्थित जी जी एस पी आई कम्प्यूटर इंस्टीयूट हर साल 5 सितंबर को शिक्षक दिवस मनाया जाता है। यह दिन शिक्षकों को समर्पित होता है। इस दिन शिक्षकों के प्रति स्नेह और सम्मान प्रकट करने के लिए उन्हें सम्मानित भी किया जाता है। वहीं, शिष्य अपने शिक्षक को गुरु दक्षिणा देकर उनका आशीर्वाद और आशीष प्राप्त करते हैं। विद्यालय के प्रमुख गुरप्रीत सिंह सेहरा एवं शिक्षकों ने दीप प्रज्वलित कर डॉक्टर सर्वपल्ली राधाकृष्णन को याद किया गया उनके जन्मदिन के उपलक्ष्य पर शिक्षक दिवस मनाया जाता है। इस मौके पर स्कूल में सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम और प्रतियोगिता आयोजित किए गए इनमें बच्चे बढ़ चढ़कर हिस्सा लीये डायरेक्टर गुरप्रीत सिंह सेहरा ने शिक्षक दिवस का इतिहास और इससे जुड़ी रोचक बातें बताई हैं कहा जी जी एस पी आई के चारो ब्रांच से 700 बच्चे उपस्थित हुवे इस मौके पर उन्होंने डॉ॰ सर्वपल्ली राधाकृष्णन से उनका जन्मदिन मनाने की इच्छा जताई। यह सुन डॉ॰ सर्वपल्ली राधाकृष्णन प्रसन्न हुए और बोले-ख़ुशी हुई कि आप लोग मेरा जन्मदिन मनाना चाहते हैं, लेकिन यह ख़ुशी और बढ़ जाएगी। जब मेरे जन्मदिन पर आप लोग शिक्षकों के शिक्षा क्षेत्र में उत्कृष्ट कार्य के लिए उन्हें सम्मानित कर मनाएं। उनके कहने पर हर वर्ष 5 सितंबर को शिक्षक दिवस मनाया जाता है। आपको बता दें कि डॉ॰ सर्वपल्ली राधाकृष्णन ने अपने जीवन के 40 वर्ष शिक्षक के रूप में बिताए। बचपन से ही वे प्रतिभावान और प्रतिभाशाली थे। उन्हें स्वामी विवेकानंद जी का आशीर्वाद प्राप्त था। मौके पर मौके पर जी जी एस पी आई कम्यूटर इंस्टीयूट के शिक्षक मंजीत ,विक्रम, रोशन ,अंकिता प्रियम, सुखपाल, देव कुंडू सर और मैं निर्देशक गुरप्रीत सिंह सहारा उपस्थित रहे

Let us tell you that Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan spent 40 years of his life as a teacher. Since childhood, he was gifted and talented. He had the blessings of Swami Vivekananda. On the occasion, teachers of GGSPI Commuter Institute Manjit, Vikram, Roshan, Ankita Priyam, Sukhpal, Dev Kundu sir and I, director Gurpreet Singh Sahara were present.
